STIHL Combi Systems are highly versatile machines. There are four powerheads to choose from - starting at the KM 56 RC-E at 0.8kW (4.3kg - suited to the home user) up to the KM 131R at 1.4kW (4.4kg - for professional applications). All four powerheads can be fitted with 12 different tools, plus a range of extension shafts for when the job requires additional reach.
The various tools and their uses are as follows:
FS-KM Linetrimmer - Nylon trimming head suited to cutting against hard structures or along paths.
HY-KM Pole Pruner - For high pruning applications – ideally used with extension shafts.
SP-KM Special Harvester - Angled rakes especially designed for nut and olive harvesting.
KCS-KM Edger - Adjustable edger for path and garden edges. Straight shaft and adjustable depth control.
FCB-KM Edger - Bent shaft edger – a cheaper option than the straight shaft model.
KW-KM Power Sweeper - Rubber paddled sweeper is ideal for removing gravel from footpaths and roads.
KB-KM Bristle Brush - Great from removing dirt from grooves and furrows. Backward rotating brush.
BF-KM Soil Cultivator - 22cm wide cultivator ideal for breaking up clods in vege or flower gardens.
BG-KM Blower - Blowing attachment is extremely effective relative to most other blower types. Ideal for leaves and clippings.
HL-KM 145 Degree - This hedge cutter can be adjusted through 145 degrees – making easy work of tall hedge tops, particularly when used with extension shafts.
Combi Systems are very transportable given the nature of the split shaft, and there is also a convenient carry bag which means all attachments can be kept together tidily.
These systems are very popular with lifestyle block owners, schools, garden contractors and anybody who has a variety of different needs.
